Understanding Your Dosha
From the results of the dosha quiz, you will be either Vata, Pitta or Kapha dominant. Each dosha is made up of two elements and express itself through physiololgy, digestion movement, metabolism and mental tendencies.
Once your dominant dosha is identified, you can begin to recognise patterns instead of problems, turning health shifts from reaction to relationship. Small consistent choices that are aligned with your doshic state can lead to steadier energy, better digestion and a more regulated nervous system.

UNDERSTANDING THE TRI DOSHAS AND YOUR DOMINANT CONSTITUTION
VATA (MOVEMENT)
Vata is responsible for movement in our bodies.
It is comprised of Ether and Air elements, making it expansive, mobile and subtle.
It governs
the nervous system
breath and circulationmovement of nutrients,
thoughts and impulses
creativity and adaptability
When there is Vata imbalance, it can manifest as anxiety, insomnia, stress, digestive issues, skin issues and chronic fatigue. Vata needs consistency, grounding routines, nourishing foods, gentle movement and warming foods.
PITTA (TRANSFORMATION)
Pitta is responsible for the transformations in our bodies.
It is comprised of fire and water elements, making it transformative, liquid, sharp and focused.
Pitta governs:
digestion, absorption, and metabolism
body temperature and energy production
intellect, focus, and decision-making
courage, ambition, and drive
When there is a Pitta imbalance, it can show up as inflammation, acidity, impatience or excessive competitiveness. Pitta needs cooling routines, calm environments, moderate exercise and cooling nourishing foods that are sweet or bitter.
KAPHA (STABILITY)
Kapha is responsible for stability and structure in our bodies and minds.
It is comprised of earth and water elements, making it fluid, grounded, strong, stable and nurturing.
Kapha governs:
bones, muscles, and tissues
fluid balance, immunity, and stability
endurance, patience, and emotional grounding
lubrication of joints, tissues, and membranes
When there is Kapha imbalance, it can show up as sluggishness, weight gain, attachment, congestion or lethargy. It needs light and warming foods, stimulating activities, mental engagement and thrives on movement.
